The François Arago Centre is located on the third floor of the building Rue Watt 13, which is part of the Bioparc, a former industrial area on the southern shore of the Seine river in Paris. The Bioparc is now a thriving building complex hosting scientific institutes as well as companies, and providing offices, meeting facilities, and restaurants.

Preparations have been finished in order to equip the 700 m2 for the needs of the centre.

The centre is operational since 2010. It provides meeting facilities and video conference rooms for the projects hosted in the centre. At the heart of the centre, a computer room has been installed, hosting the CPU farm with 600 cores and a hard disk server with 100 TByte storage capacity.
