Le Conseil National des Astronomes et Physiciens (CNAP) section Astronomie s'occupe du recrutement dans le corps des astronomes adjoints et des astronomes.

Le laboratoire APC est l'un des laboratoires affiliés à l'Observatoire de Paris et peut ainsi accueillir des astronomes recrutés dans le cadre de ce concours.

Le dossier de candidature doit inclure un projet de recherche et d'enseignement, ainsi qu'une contribution dans le cadre d'un service national d'observation.
